Evaluation for Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Letter
The benefits of animals in emotional support is well documented. They help many people through difficult times and have helped their owners manage anxiety, depression, improve motivation and help improve overall coping mechanisms in addition to improving quality of life. A pet can qualify as an emotional support pet if the owner’s mental health condition qualifies as a disabling condition and is a necessary part of the person’s treatment plan.
An ESA letter can:
enable a pet in a rental setting that may otherwise be restricted
may allow the pet deposit to be waived
may be allowed on local public ground transportation other than airlines
may allow public access in parks or some venues
The owner remains always responsible for the pet’s behavior in public and at home.
An emotional support pet is not a service animal. A service animal:
serves a person with a cognitive or physical disability
has specialized training specific to the owner
Performs specific functions on behalf of the owner to accommodte physical or medical barriers
Is licensed including photo ID of the pet issued by the certifying agency
If you and your pet may qualify for an ESA letter, we can book a session, complete an assessment and determine if an ESA letter is right for you.
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
